When it comes to training I am a big believer that one size does not fit all: everyone is unique and has different goals and lifestyles so it is important to cater to each individual’s requirements. I have worked with a range of clients aged between 17-67 with different goals, from losing fat, injury rehabilitation and to increasing muscle mass.
 
RDS Fitness is a private training gym offering 1-to-1 coaching, small group coaching, online support, and expert recovery services like body tempering. We’re here to help real people get stronger, move better, and feel more confident—without the crowds or the guesswork.

Fred

As someone who escaped feeling trapped in an overweight and unfit body, Fred embodies the life changing effect of fitness, which goes way beyond how a person looks.

After spending his childhood and teens in a state of self-loathing with which so many people will be familiar, he committed to taking ownership and making a change.

This was in 2002 when there was very little information available about exactly what to do, so he made a lot of mistakes before figuring out what worked. His mission now is to pass on this knowledge and save others from the frustration of putting in all the effort only to come up short of their goal, a fate that so often causes people to quit.

Nothing makes Fred happier than witnessing people breaking free of that negative cycle and changing from “I can’t” and “this is just the way I am” to “I can do this!”

It’s this belief that with enough training anything is possible which has pushed Fred to attempt a range of different events in both strength and endurance sports, including strongman contests, triathlons, mud races, climbing the 3 peaks and military-based challenges. At nearly 40, Fred believes he is in better shape than 10 years ago, and his goal now is to still be able to say this in another 10 years.
